Sec championship game in 2010 again will be held at a football match held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta (CBS). The 2010 SEC Championship football game is set with the Auburn Tigers facing the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The two teams met earlier this year on September 25 at Auburn. The Tigers beat the Gamecocks in that game 35-27.
Auburn is currently ranked second in each poll and has an 11-0 record (7-0 SEC). They clinched the SEC West title with a 49-31 win over Georgia.
South Carolina (7-3, 5-3 SEC) is currently ranked 22nd in the Coaches Poll, 22nd in the AP Poll and 23rd in the BCS. The Gamecocks clinched the SEC East title with a 36-14 win over Florida.
The Tigers lead the overall series against the Gamecocks 7-1-1.
